When do you use LXC over KVM?

Using bench monster it doesn’t get that better results in my own testing.

So when would you use LXC over KVM?

Personally, never. Sometimes, I run into weird code errors, so I always use KVM to isolate those issues.

You can use LXC or OpenVZ when you want to spend less on a VPS as they can be oversold more easily & with a quality provider you won't even notice any difference. They are fine for most use cases

    Recommend: SmallWeb|BuyVM|Linode|RamNode

  • On my own hypervisor I use LXC as they create less overhead, allowing me to create more CT/VMs.

  • Never.
