Yeah, like I said, that place is now worse than hack forums to be associated with, I honestly feel you are more likely to get what you pay for on HF than LEB and now LET by extension given the creeping influence on there as people wise up to the B

I guess Gordon was right all along, turns out I was the dickhead.

I will just be over here eating humble pie if anyone needs me

On this list, there are a few CC-based companies that have not deadpooled yet. For convenience, I have listed them below (except their main brands + virmach, all of which I do not expect to deadpool)

I split this list into two categories, which I did by gut feel. One category is titled "Companies I do not know enough about", and the other one is "Companies that might deadpool soon-ish".

    Unknown companies:

    • SteadyVPS
    • HostNamaste
    • CheapWindowsVPS
    • PDQServer
    • WindowsVPS.host
    • VPSFortune
    • MyHostingSRV

    Companies I expect will deadpool:

    • SolvedByData
    • TCNHosting - Just deadpooled. List updated.
    • Upbeat Hosting
    • SolvedByData
    • KayHosting
    • HostFlyte

There needs to be a thread with updated list of such hosts

    I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

there was lowenddeadpool, but here's what they had to say (c) ColonCrossing 2019:

This site has the intention to list all companies listed at LowEndBox / LowEndTalk that are either about to deadpool or have already deadpooled (including scams hosted by ColoCrossing).
As of April 2019, it is pretty safe to say that all hosts listed at LowEndBox are a scam at best (except for QuadraNet and Virmach).

This illustrates wonderfully what a horrible bunch of scumbags those people at ColoCrossing/Deluxe are. I am very glad that I no longer contribute to LET and left the place. Shall it burn down to ashes.

  • look like all hosts on LEB are going to be Deadpooled. I think they will come up with new names and this loop will continue forever.

    spelling is wrong, its ColonCrossing

  • Drama and speculation aside, it's a good idea to compile a list of the shell companies for the record as a buyer beware PSA. While this isn't new for old forum regulars, LEB might still get linked on reddit or other sites, milking its former reputation as a legitimate place to get cheap server deals.

Of the list, I recall UMaxHosting was discussed on the old forum before when it first appeared as the prime example of the 3-year prepaid scheme (shortly after the AlphaRacks episode), though I hadn't been really following the story. While communities can't prevent people from pursuing the bottom of the barrel, drawing attention to these schemes may have saved some lurkers their money even if we never hear about those close calls. I guess you could call me an idyllic optimist. :#

    Bloody hell!

People in the USA, what is wrong with your business regulation, in the UK with the volume of evidence it would take 1 properly worded email to the correct authority in the UK and people would be serving sentences for fraud within a year.

I cant believe there is not a public body in the USA that will investigate corporate fraud.

Perhaps they have the contacts and press influence to get something started that none of use ever could.

if colocrossing ever get officially investigated I am going to be celebrating with free services for everyone.

i also think we should all try to start typing colocrossing+deluxe instead of cc to make it easier for anyone investigating to find.
