FastestVPN Lifetime Deal 12$ is back (5 Devices)

FastestVPN LTD, initially often priced at 5$, eventually raised to 15$-20$, sometimes even 30$.
Right now it's back at 12$ on DealMirror, so grab it in case you are interested.

Not the "fastest" VPN indeed but reaching fair enough speeds. Better than using your average free VPN (except, perhaps WS Free or KeepSolid).

I don't think the "money back guarantee" applies to LTDs tbh. Don't count on that.

    Intersting...
If you buy the $ 29.99 SSD "Lifetime Hosting" and get the $ 20 Casbhack,
then buy 10 device VPN plan for that $ 20.

    Effectively,
for $ 30 you get Hosting and 10 device VPN for "lifetime"

I actually got Truemail. It looked promising, and seems good enough. Let's see how it goes :)

By the way, if anyone got fastestvpn, can you check which ISP they are on in South Korea?

  • What protocol does it use though, wireguard?

Nah, ovpn udp/tcp and maybe ikev as well I think.

If you want Wireguard get Keepsolid VPN Lifetime. They got wireguard protocol :)

You can view the locations here: https://fastestvpn.com/server-locations

The AdBlock worked fairly well, when I used it a while ago. Using Windscribe most of the time but with 12$ you go wrong, really.

Yeah, looks like scam itself but being another PureVPN/Ivacy reseller it's alright tbh. You can always take some 40$ and get a Keepsolid or Ivacy LTD instead. At 12$ you get what you pay for.

  • Just bought it as a secondary lifetime vpn plan ( I also have keepsolid lifetime and a windscribe monthly promo).
    Some initial thoughts:

    • Not big variety of servers.
    • Could not connect to either of 2 UK locations. Guess they are at full capacity?
    • Nice and clean app interface.
    • Netflix US is working like a charm.
    • Speed on US and some EU servers: Not thrilling but nice (as Caesar said on Mel Brook's "History of the World Part 1")

Overall (especially for the $12 price):

    • If a program actually fits in memory and has enough disk space, it is guaranteed to crash.
    • If such a program has not crashed yet, it is waiting for a critical moment before it crashes.

This is what I meant when I said for 12$ it's a valid pick. Glad you enjoy it :)
I remember times FlixUS didn't work with them. Glad to hear it does now.

Server count is a little low indeed but ok. Have you tried manual ovpn/ikev for the UK servers?

I acutally enjoy the simplicity of the app, too. Some other vpn apps have too many tabs/options. Then again it also looks a bit dull. But it does the job so I don't care, really.

@jvnadr just now I could connect to both UK1 and UK2. UK1 yielded only some 23 Mbit/s, UK2 50 Mbit/s. Both results are fine for me, 50 Mbit/s being preferred ofc.

I also got this as well, although I don't need any more LTD VPNs :(

I really like their app, at least better than Ivacy.

Their South Korean servers are actually a bit faster than other EHOSTICT resellers (they usually go under 10Mbps or even under 5Mbps)
However, their Japan location is awful.

    FastestVPN South Korea

    FastestVPN Japan

    Without VPN

    NordVPN South Korea

    NordVPN Japan

So, is this the fastest VPN? No. However, is it worth $12? Probably.

    Anyway, thanks for sharing @Ympker

You're welcome. Definitely not the fasest. Keepsolid has been fastest for me. Exotic locations will probably have slower speeds.
Glad you can make use of it :)

To unblock Netflix, Crunchyroll or similar services, mainly. Not much else these days. Back in the days streaming and some linux isos. Not anymore.

Usually I use their apps and cba with a manual config.

Note that purevpn, ivacy their base is actually in Karachi, Pakistan. FastestVPN most likely is another brand under the parent company. Just give some information you might interested.

  • Been using keepsolid for 5 yrs, wondering do i really need another provided that is not better than keepsolid?
Also, any chance some of the premium provider come out with lifetime license? Iirc i see cyberghost doing it once, too bad didn't pull the trigger.
