Yes, a ton of benchmarking and new installs, to be expected, low-density node in terms of CPU cores so its just a fact of budget hosting, if it does not settle within 48 - 72 hours pop a ticket in I will see what I can do for you.

    Ant.

Could probably do that for around €75 /year roughly however the hardware is completely full right now.

I'm sure you'd fill a server in hours with an offer like that.

well when I was doing the double disk and 50% off promotion that plan was effectively available anyway with merging a few plans so that tells me I just need to make a new plan that caters for that specific size, thanks for the info, I did not know that was a standard to beat!

Any plan to release double disk hoping to grab storage VM =)

Now waiting for Ant to post similar offers in the US ;)

Thanks. I'll leave it for a while, but I'm not really worried. I'm running mySQL and it seems to be handling that without blinking; that (and reliability) is all that matters to me. The comment was a bit tongue in cheek.

I guess most people storage-focused use it as benchmark. I find it very hard to beat. Ask @Falzo

LetBox 2vcpu E5, 2GB RAM, 20GB NVMe + 3TB HDD $7/m is still my ideal combination. It's versatile enough to run a few storage applications that require a DB (e.g Nextcloud, Photo album apps, etc)

hard to beat: yes and no ;-)

3 TB at this price point is always an interesting offer. also the combination with a bit of nvme or even pure ssd for the system itself is very nice. however it is not that rare anymore, at least if you can wait a bit for offers popping up - like 2TB at $48 from servarica or even $40 from hosthatch. lately we also had novos with 3TB in belgium and so on.

I would probably buy 3TB/75€yearly in London or Amsterdam, but rather not interested in US storage anymore.

  • Which location is the yabs from and is the new AMS hardware live? I already got one of from the previous offer, looking for another one on a different node and with more ram.

    The YABS is from Amsterdam.

I can pretty much guarantee any orders placed now will go on different nodes to the previous offer.

Yes but it would be the same price as the 1GB right now :) so probably best just ordering that.

On yearly terms I cant really go any lower in Amsterdam.

Still a shame that you can't do anything bigger (especially in terms of bandwidth). Will we see any upcoming oVZ offers or are those nodes still OOS?

Appreciate the deal anyway - good stuff.

I have the same thoughts as you. If the bandwidth is more or only limited when it runs out of space and not service interruption, then there really is nothing better.

I have made a note, might be possible to do something bandwidth-wise. Let me come back to you all when I have had a chance to discuss it.

UK 2GB package has 50GB disk but NL has 20 only
UK 4GB package has 70GB disk but NL has 40 only.
Could you please increase disk for NL package same as UK?

Yeah, some more bandwidth on the 1GB KVM (2T instead of 1T, maybe) would be purrfect!
